INTERIOR PAINTING

Painting the interior of your home is a great way to refresh your entire living environment without remodeling, while also protecting your walls and trim from wear & tear. We will make your decision to update your space an exciting and rewarding one.

Interior and exterior painting both require a great deal of skill and knowledge, but interior painting is very personal. We’re in your family room, in your bedroom, in your bathrooms and closets… sometimes we’re even alone in your home while you and your family are away. So, trust and professionalism are critical. You don’t want to just invite any painter into your home and hope for the best. Our interior painters understand that we are guests inside of your home. We are polite and courteous, and do our best to be accommodating of your schedules, your pets, your allergies, etc. We will also be to your project when we say we’ll be to your project.

The skill, attention to detail and patience needed when working in and around other finished interior surfaces is critical in ensuring a professional product is delivered to a satisfied customer. Our goal with interior painting projects, as with all projects, is to make sure that you are happy with both how the work is completed, as well as the finished product. Bottomline… we're not happy until you’re happy. We can’t wait to get started!

our approach to interior painting projects

Our painting crews know exactly what to do to complete your project in a timely and professional manner.

ESTimate

We’ll start the process with an estimate, during which time I’ll explain how this time, working with a contractor is going to be different. Then we’ll review your project and talk through your questions. After that, I’ll spend up to 48 hours after our meeting crafting a custom estimate for your project, that I will then share with you for review. Finally, after you spend some time reviewing your estimate, I’ll be more than happy to discus any questions you might have, as well as look for ways to align to your budget and expectations.

Free Virtual or In-Home Color Consultation

We offer a complimentary Sherwin Williams COLORSNAP Virtual or In-Home Color Consultation ($95 Value) with every signed Twin Cities Resurfacing contract. We want to take the guesswork out of picking paint colors!

PREP WORK

Basic Prep: We will cover and protect floors as needed, wipe dust from baseboards and apply tape, remove vent and electrical cover plates, fill minor wall damage (including unwanted nail holes), lightly sand all walls and spot-prime patches as needed.

Custom Prep: This is Basic Prep, with the addition of repairs to nail pops, corner bead damage and failing joint tape, patching large holes or drywall repairs. This level of prep is done on an as-needed basis, and would have been discussed and agreed upon prior to the commencement of any work.

Professional Painting

We typically brush and roll 2 coats of paint with a 1/2 inch nap roller. We’ll start by cutting in around windows, doors and ceiling lines. It’s worth noting that as professional painters, we cut in perfect ceiling lines and never get paint on anything that wasn’t meant to be painted. We’ll then roll the first coat of paint on the walls, lightly sand, and then repeat with the second coat.

Clean-Up & Touch-Up

This stage of the process involves completing touch-ups as needed, cleaning our work areas, and replacing furniture and other room contents (if we moved them originally).

Final Project Inspection

We’ll do a walk-through of your newly finished spaces with you to ensure that you are completely happy with our finished product. At this point, you’ll sign off on project completion, only after which time we will submit our final invoice. It’s now time to start enjoying your updated spaces!
