WALLPAPER REMOVAL

Wallpaper is a great product to use for drastically changing the look of a room, but it can quickly become outdated, or no longer suit you. And to make matters worse, it is very rarely installed properly, which means that removal can often prove difficult and time consuming. For that reason, our wallpaper removal services are billed on an hourly basis, as we won’t know what we’ll find behind your wallpaper (more wallpaper?!) until we get started. Your walls might also require significant repair work after the wallpaper is removed, and before they are ready for a fresh coat of paint.

OUR WALLPAPER REMOVAL PROCESS

• Cover floors and surrounding surfaces.

• While working in sections, use a wallpaper steamer to loosen the glue and remove wallpaper from each section.

• Continue this process until all wallpaper is removed.

• Wash the walls to remove all excess glue; let dry.

• Identify areas that will need to be repaired/patched (either from prior damage, or damage that occurred during the wallpaper removal process).

• Sand all walls, and roll 1 coat of sealer to create a paint ready surface.
